Application Checklist

✓   Application & Supplements
  • St. Margaret's Online Application: Please create an account to start your application.
  • Recommendations: Teacher recommendations completed by current Math and English teachers.
  • Transcript: Please have your current school send your transcript and most recent semester/marking period grades from this year to the Office of Admission.
Please note we also accept the Standard Application Online (SAO).

✓   Interview
Interviews are conducted on campus, virtually, or as we travel to your area. Schedule your interview and visit to St. Margaret's by the Admissions Office at 804.443.3357 or sending an email to admit@sms.org.

✓   Test Scores
The SSAT is our preferred admission test, register today. Please submit results using the school code 6724.
If English is not your first language, register for the TOEFL test or take the Duolingo English Test. Please submit results using the school code B525.
If you do not have standardized test scores, ask our admission team for an alternative option.

✓   Financial Aid
Apply for need-based financial aid if you believe you may qualify.

$50 for U.S. applicants.
$100 for international applicants.
