(Tappahannock, Va.) - Summer is coming; spend it on the river! Registration is now open for St. Margaret’s School’s “Summer on the River” camp. Open to boys and girls ages 10-15, the camp will be led by Richard Moncure, S.T.R.E.A.M. Director at St. Margaret’s and the 2022 Virginia Association Independent Schools Teacher of the Year. S.T.R.E.A.M. is the school’s one-of-a-kind curriculum that integrates the nearby River and natural surroundings with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning.
St. Margaret’s School is pleased to announce the school has received transformative gifts totaling $2 Million from longtime supporters Roger Sanders and E. Carlton “Buddy” Wilton, Jr. The gifts are the largest in the school’s 102-year history and will fund its focus on river-centric 21st-century learning, aptly called “S.T.R.E.A.M.,” along with St. Margaret’s recommitment to faith-based education.

(Tappahannock, Va.) - St. Margaret’s School’s Head of School Colley Bell announced today the appointment of Cornelius Snead as St. Margaret’s School’s Dean of Athletics. Beginning July 1, Snead will oversee the school’s athletic program that encompasses 12 varsity and club sports.
